Delete your account

You can remove your Kapitel account and the reading data attached to it. This cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Kapitel and sign in.
2. Go to the You tab.
3. Tap Delete account (last row, in red).
4. Confirm. We delete the account immediately.

By email

If you cannot open the app, email support@kapitel-app.yourweg.com from the address on the account. Use the subject “Delete Kapitel account”. We will confirm and delete the account, usually within 7 days.

What we delete

• Your login (email or Google-linked Kapitel user)
• Profile (name, level, goals, reader settings)
• Story progress, favorites, saved words, and practice history
• Feedback you sent from that account

We do not delete copies of the published stories themselves — those are the app’s library, not your personal data.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Follow the steps above if you want the account removed.
